Please forgive me while I try to put into words exactly how amazing Tim & Stacey’s Stanthorpe wedding photography was! Stacey and I had been talking prior to her wedding day and we had plans go for a 40 minute hike (one way) to get portrait photos on top of a mountain. However when their wedding day came around, it was very wet and very cold. Just to confirm, I LOVE wet wedding days and I hope that these photos show you exactly why. Also, interesting story – I had to wrap my cameras in plastic bags! I looked very professional, haha!
Anyway, the point I was getting at is that I loved Tim & Stacey’s adventurous spirit. Even though we couldn’t go hiking for photos, Stacey asked me instead if I would like her to jump in a puddle for a photo! Seriously, don’t let the rain hold you back on your wedding day, I can’t stress that enough. So we headed off for photos in the romantic and moody Stanthorpe country-side and it was absolutely perfect. We finished off the day at the Ballandean Estate Wines with rustic and moody vibes.
This beautiful wedding day was choc-a-bloc full of candid and real moments – a couple surrounded by amazing family and friends. At the end of the day, I overheard Tim tell one of the little flower girls that Leah was just as crazy as ‘Aunty Stacey’, a statement which I took to be the highest honour because that girl is amazing and I loved spending the day with her and her new husband. Anyway, I will stop rambling on and let you get on with stalking these photos.
Ceremony venue: Thornbury Lodge in Liston, Stanthorpe.
